STRAWBERRIES & PEACHES: Cat #4: Waldo

~Too many cats - Waldo's story~

Now I know I've gone over Coconut's perspective of how he came to live with me but what was Waldo's point of view like? As you know he came from eleven kittens. What you don't know is that he was the smallest and meekest of them all.

My friend originally brought me to see them because when she saw Waldo and his kinked tail, she was reminded of Dash. Waldo wasn't the only one in the litter with a kinked tail either. He had a twin sister! They looked exactly the same but with tails going in opposite directions. When I first picked him up he was so scared that he was shaking all over. I packed him up with Coconut and together I took them home. The date was July 10, 2013.

Waldo had a bit of a harder time getting used to leaving the other kittens than. He'd often cling to me or the other cats and cry out if he ever thought we'd left him. That's when he developed his suckling habit. I'd find him clinging to Dash and sucking away at his fur. It was such a loud noise that I could hear him in the other room. It's a habit that I've been trying to break but to no avail. To this day I'll still find him suckling Dash.

Most days I'll find Waldo cuddling up to Jade. He needs to make sure he knows where she is at all times or he'll go looking for her. He chirps at her when she wakes up and then follows he into the bathroom. Once there he'll promptly jump on her lap awaiting pets. It wasn't until she moved in that he started doing this to me as well. I honestly don't know what he's going to do when she goes back to England. He'll probably end up sneaking into her luggage!

Breed/Color: Domestic medium hair, Brown Tabby

Birthday: 2013, June 3rd

Defining characteristics: Medium tail kinking to the right, and the chattering noise he makes when he sees reflections of light on the wall

Favorite food: Whiskas Temptations cat treats - Creamy Dairy flavored

Favorite toy: Grreat Choice Short Hair Safari Mouse

Strange habit: Suckling Dash's fur

Favorite sleeping location: On top of or near Dash, and anywhere Jade is sitting

Dislikes: Water, having his head touched, loosing in a paw fight, and Jade locking him out of her room
